Project Officer for the Employment Policies and Skills Development (EPSD) Programme, in charge of Green Jobs related training activities, in the framework of the ILO Green Jobs Programme at the ITC-ILO

Alice Vozza is in charge of designing and implementing capacity building activities and projects on local development, sustainable development and disaster risk reduction, mainly for Central and Latin American countries and the Caribbean.

Co Director at The Development Alchemists Ltd

The Development Alchemists provide training, coaching and facilitation. Their approach to training is typified as 'learner centred", that is placing the needs and starting point of the participants as the centre of the design. Training design is informed by a deep understanding of adult learning preferences and ownership is derived from engagement and participation.

Flavio Fabiani is partner and Head of Green Marketing Business at Redomino S.r.l.

Mr Robin Poppe

Head, Learning and Communication at International Training Centre of the ILO

Robin Poppe has an extensive experience as expert and consultant in the training of international organizations in different countries, mainly in Africa. In the International Training Centre, he has worked as the Head of an innovative training programme within the team encharged of the Programmes devoted to the United Nations. Afterwards, he turned Coordinador of the UNSSC Economic and Social Development Programme. He has been Head of Programmes co-funded by the European Social Fund to apply, through technical and teaching assistance activities, the European employment strategy and promoting employment through the development of human resources. Moreover, he has worked as the Head of the technical programmes' team in the Turin Centre.

Ms Temi Abimbola

Division Manager of Program Design & Development Division of the African Development Bank

Prior to joining the Bank, she was an Associate Professor from Warwick Business School, University of Warwick, England. She holds a PhD in Management and Business Administration from Aston University, UK. Temi Abimbola is an active researcher, teacher and consultant.

Ms Gráinne Conole

Professor of Learning Innovation and Director of the Institute of Learning Innovation, University of Leicester.

Gráinne Conole has research interests in the use,  integration and evaluation of Information and Communication Technologies and e-learning and impact on organisational change. Gráinne has research, development and project management experience across the educational and technical domains. Very recent projects include the EU-funded projects OPAL, Deisgn-Practice, and X-Delia, the JISC-funded learner experience project, the ESRC TLRP Technology-Enhanced Learning project, PI led by Eileen Scanlon and Mike Sharples, as well as an OU Learning Design Project.

Mr Arjen Wals

Professor Social Learning & Sustainability; Director Centre for Sustainable Development & Food Security; Unesco Chair

Arjen Wals is an Associate Professor within the Education & Competence Studies Group of the Department of Social Sciences of the Wageningen University in the Netherlands. His phD - obtained in 1991 from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, U.S.A., under the guidance of UNESCO's first Director for Environmental Education, the late Professor William B. Stapp - explored the crossroads between environmental education and environmental psychology. He is the (co)author and (co)editor of over 120 publications on environmental education and learning in the context of sustainability.

Mr Jan Vandemoortele

MDG Architect and independent writer and lecturer

“Knowledge is acquired when we succeed in fitting a new experience into the system of concepts based upon old experiences. Understanding comes when we liberate ourselves from the old and so make possible a direct, unmediated contact with the new”.

Jan Vandemoortele served in various capacities with the United Nations for 30 years. In his last position, he served as UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator to Pakistan from 2005-08. He was closely involved with the creation of the Millennium Development Goals and His current focus on the MDGs relates to the urgency to diminish donorship by switching development debate from 'money changing hands' to 'ideas changing minds'. He is member of various advisory groups, including advising the UN Secretary-General and the Dutch State Secretary for development co-operation.

Michele Visciola

President of Experientia Design

Michele Visciola is an international expert on usability engineering, human factors and user-centred design, with a specific interest in new interfaces, notification systems, scenario design and the usability-aesthetics relationship. He has participated in many national and international information system design projects, covering a wide range of expertise (from aeronautics to naval systems, and from internet to mobility systems). He has taught digital culture for designers at the Industrial Design Department of the Milan Polytechnic and “Evolution of people-centred design methods” at the Bicocca University of Milan, and is the author and co-author of books and many papers.

Philipp Schönrock

Director of CEPEI

Philipp Schönrock is the director of the Center for International Strategic Thinking (CEPEI) in Bogotá, Colombia. As a consultant, he has worked with organizations such as UNDP, IDB, Community of Madrid, Ford Foundation and King's College London.
